Family. That is what best defines us. It is hard to grow up in the Midwest without that value. We hail from the small agricultural town of Chillicothe, Ohio.
My beautiful bride and best friend, Amy, and I grew up in the same town, where we attended the same school (K-12). We married July of 2003. We also have two rambunctious boys—Titus and Canon.
We are adventurous. For instance, 6 months after being married, I graduate from Ohio Christian University with a BA in Theology (2004), and we moved to the Pacific Northwest.
Seattle was our home from 2004-2014. While there, I served in 2 local churches and I earned my Master’s of Theology and Biblical Studies from Fuller Theological Seminary (2010).
Four years after that we set out to do missionary work in Chuuk, Micronesia. So we liquidated all our assets, including our home, and focused our efforts to get there.
In the Fall of 2014, I spent 4 weeks in Chuuk scouting out a place to live, etc. Shortly after I returned, Titus was diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes. Our world turned upside down and living in a 3rd world country was no longer an option.
But in God’s divine providence, he lead us here, to this wonderful community, where we will seek to reach the lost, reclaim their lives for Christ, and resend them on Gospel Mission, where we will love Jesus, love others, and make disciples together. All for His glory and unto His mission and by the power of His Spirit!
